Research on helical drilling equipment used in loose coal seam and its technology
The optimum matohing relations of helical drilling parameters such as pitch of helix, vane height, rotating speed, etc, was found out through study and test. A complete drilling technology and equipment used in loosen outburst seams were formed, and the problems of hole drilling and protection in loose high-gassy outburst coal seam were solved, so the depth of big-diameter borehole was increased from 50m to about 200m. As a result, the gas drainage rate was improved obviously and safe production in coalmine was secure. This achievement provided a new technical way for the prevention and control of gas disaster and has important dissemination value.
