Phosphorus Tests and Acid Soils Fertilization in Croatia
The aim of this investigation was to compare different computer models for phosphorus (P) fertilizer requirement determination based on different soil P tests. Commonly used data for fertilizer recommendations in Croatia include properties such as soil pH, organic matter content and plant available P and pottasium extracted by acid Egner-Rehim-Domingo ammonium lactate solution as most often used soil P test (Al-P). The additional information, like organic P, could be very useful when response to fertilization based on Al-P test fails. Existing computer models can be improved by addition organic P as an additional variable.
