Ezperimental Study on Confining Effect and Anti-Seismic Performance of Concrete-Filled Circular Steel Columns
The exprimental study on the 3 short concrete-filled circular steel columns under various eccentrical load is conducted. Base on the poisson ratio of the combination of materials, the confinement effect of steel tube to core concrete and the impact of eccentricity are throughly analyzed in the structure from various angle.The effect of restriction of steel tube depends on the poisson ratio magnitude of the combination of materials and the size class of the effect of restriction.The confinement effect of the steel tube makes the ductility and plasticity develop fully. And so that the anti-seismic performance is improved.
