The Influence of Lateral Stiffness Ratio on Transition Layer of Bottom Frame Structure
The seismic damage investigation of 5 · 12 Wenchuan Earthquake indicate that the damage state of bottom frame structure in disaster area is not the same. By the calculation and analysis of two bottom frame structure in seismic area Wenchuan County and Mao County, the interpretation of the damage state of the two structure is given fully and reasonably, the influence law is obtained which reveals the lateral stiffness ratio of transition layer and adjacent layer of frame-shear wall to layer shear and layer displacement of transition layer. Based on above all , the design suggestion is put forward about the lateral stiffness ratio selection range of bottom frame structure .The research contents of this article is available to structural designer.
