Numerical Studies on Brick Masonry Wall Strengthened with CFRP

Before and after strengthening nonlinear finite element analysis on brick masonry wall strengthened by carbon fiber reinforced polymer is made based on studying constitutive relations of masonry structures. The research about elastoplastic analysis forbrick masonry wall is done. The relevant programs are created. Some discussion about the variety of stress , strain and interbeddeddisplacement for brick masonry before and after strengthening is given, and some comparison about several strengthening plans isdone.
