Seismic Response Analysis in Transverse Direction of the Shield Tunnel With Seismic Deformation Method
Shield tunnel usually is constructed on soft ground by segments connected by circumferential and longitudinal joints, requiring appropriate seismatic techniques in design and construction. In order to achieve an understanding of the distribution of displacement and internal force (axial force, shear force and bending moment) of the shield tunnel at the earthquake, as well as the influence of the earthquake to the shield tunnel, in the hope of ensuring the safety of the tunnel, we will study one shield tunnel project and conduct a numeric modeling by seismic deformation method. The dynamic response behavior of the subsoil of the proposed site where the tunnel will be built is analyzed with the theory of stratification reflection, and the seismic behavior in transverse direction of the shield tunnel is computed with seismic deformation method. The computation results have worthy implication for homologous engineering and leading to some valuable conclusions.
