A Bottom-up Model of Computational Semiotics
The computational implementation of semiosis can provide a useful tool for the formalization of linguistic abstraction mechanisms that can improve the semantic abilities of the model based software development. For this purpose,in this work a very straightforward approach has been proposed by using concepts from other disciplines such as modeling and programming. The basic semiotic concepts have been analyzed and computational implementations are given. The approach has been illustrated with some semiotical patterns.
