Effect of Navigation Style and Display Size on Navigation Performance in Virtual Environments
The effect of navigation style and display size on navigation performance was investigated when participants navigated in three-dimensional virtual mazes under different navigation aids and display size condition. The study was divided into two main phases: 1) training and 2) testing using a mock navigation task. Findings show that the combined impact of both navigation style and display size on navigation performance in virtual environments. Navigation performance was better with navigation aid under large projection display condition.
