Implications from case of mobile phone services in Korea and China

摘要：

By analyzing the case of Korean and Chinese mobile phone services, the goal of this paper was to understand the role of standards in the rapid development of mobile phone services in Korea. Although Chinese mobile phone services are in fast developing stage, the government established TD-SCDMA standard as Chinese 3G standard, the Chinese mobile phone services are far lag behind Korea. Therefore, we can learn some lessons from the South Korea Case and give some implications for policy making and enterprises management.
