China-South Korea FTA: Opportunities, Problems and Prospects

Since establishing diplomatic relations between China-South Korea, economic and trade exchanges are deepening day by day, which has laid a solid economic establishment for the establishing of China-South Korean FTA. At the same time, the Government, the Industry, the Academy in both countries are endeavoring to promote the access of bilateral FTA, and the two countries have accumulated vast experiences in establishing FTA. But it is not an overnight matter to reach bilateral free trade agreement between China-South Korea, the establishing of China-South Korean FTA also confronts with many barriers, for example, the sharp difference between the economic development level, there are inferior industries in both of the two countries and the impact that come from America. But the access of China-South Korean FTA would enhance the economic strength greatly of the two countries and create new prospects for Northeast Asia economic Cooperation.
