How to Regulate International M&A in China-Facing New Anti-monopoly Law

I. IntroductionAnti-monopoly Law of the Peoples Republic of China was adopted on August 30, 2007 and came into effect as of August 1st, 2008. With its provisions, people hope this law can help China to enforce the ability to regulate the foreign Merger and Acquisitions in the domestic market. Recent news show that the foreign investors have moved further in merger the important domestic enterprises, such as Coca-Cole is undertaking HUIYUAN Juice1 and Johnson and Johnson (China) Ltd. Has finished taken DABAO company2 and other natural resource and manufactory field as well, which cause peoples concerns: how to regulate the foreign M&A and protect our countrys important industries and fair competition order in domestic market?
