IMPROVED FRAME-BRACE MODEL OF CONCRETE SHEAR WALL
By changing the number of basic frame-brace unit, the improved frame-brace model can have equal elastic flexural, shear and axial stiffness with concrete shear wall, and be suitable to simulate concrete shear wall of different height-width ratio of floor. The results of computer simulation analysis have showed that the improved frame-brace model could be used to effectively analyze the elastic-plastic deformation of reinforced masonry concrete shear wall structures under earthquake by setting the reasonable plastic hinges at proper location.
