INCREMENTAL ITERATION METHOD TO ANALYZE THE FRACTURE PROCESS OF CONCRETE STRUCTURES
The automatic propagating process of a cohesive crack in concrete materials has been analyzed using multi-zone boundary element method in this study. The opening displacement at the tip of the cohesive crack is used as crack opening criterion in the analysis of the crack propagation. Through incremental iteration method, the relationship between the external applied load and the deformation of the concrete materials in the crack propagating process has been investigated. The numerical results of the softening process of the concrete materials have also been obtained.
