Innovation and Modernization
Innovation means the first successful introduction of something new, new concept or new change into the world. Modernization is a complex process of the formation, development, transformation and interaction of modern nations and modern civilizations. This thesis proposes an innovation driving mode for national modernization and civilization progress, and finds significant positive correlation between national innovation capability index and integrated modernization index, human development index and average annual growth of per-capita GDP in 99 countries, thus inferring that innovation is a dynamic factor of civilization and modernization.
