IT-Supported Agile Supply Chain
Economic globalization makes competition among enterprises even fierce. Since the development of technology shortens the circle of product innovation and upgrade, customers require products to have more than just reliable quality and reasonable price, and market uncertainties add difficulties to enterprise operation) in the new century, competition will be mainly staged among supply chains, instead of among individual enterprises. Agile supply chain (ASC) management is the trend of enterprise management in China. Aimed at current situations of supply chain management in Chinas enterprises, this paper analyses the features and functions of agile supply chain, its IT technology platform as well as the specific technologies applied.
