Protection From High Dose Chemotherapy By Transduced With Double-Mutant Dihydrofolate Reductase-Cytidine Deaminase Genes Into Mice bone marrow cells
Background and Aim:Drug resistance gene (genes) transfer could increase the tolerance of bone marrow cell to chemotherapeutic agents. We transferred fusion drug resistance genes of DHFR gene and CD gene into mouse bone marrow cells to explore the feasibility of the tolerance of myelosuppression following combination chemotherapy and improve the clinical efficiency. The protection of bone marrow with the genes would allow larger and curative doses of high dose MTX and Ara-C.
