A NEW MODEL FOR EVALUATING KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT TOOLS
In order to implement a knowledge management (KM) project successfully in a company, it is vital to select a suitable KM tool. This paper presents an application of fuzzy and grey theory used to select the most appropriate tool to support KM. By using group-discussing and anonymous questionnaire methods, index set for selecting the most suitable KM tool is put forward. A new algorithm, which is integrated of modified Delphi, analytic hierarchy process, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and grey relational analysis, is designed to convert the qualitative description to quantitative data. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the application of the proposed method. We believe that the application shown can be of use to managers and others can benefit from this approach because of its ease of implementation.
