GRADIENT ADAPTIVE LATTICE FILTER IN FPGAS-IMPLEMENTATION ISSUES

摘要：

This paper explores an FPGA Implementation issues of the gradient adaptive lattice (GAL) fitter. The implementation was evaluated for various Virtex devices from Xilinx. On the basts of obtained results two different solutions were analysed, namely a single GAL section coprocessor of Virlex PowerPC, and a pipeline architecture. Both of them show significantly higher performance comparing to their software implementation.
