ADAPTIVE WEIGHTED MORPHOLOGY DETECTION ALGORITHM OF PLANE OBJECT IN DOCKING GUIDANCE SYSTEM
A novel morphological edge detection based on adaptive weighted morphological operators is presented. It judges plane edge and direction by adaptive weighted morphological structuring elements (SE). If the edge direction exists, a big weight SE is put; if doesnt exist, a small weight SE is put Thus we can achieve an intensified edge detector. Experimental results prove that the new operators performance dominates those of classical operators for images in geometric feature detection, and obtain superb plane detail edges.
