MAIN TASKS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF TERRITORIES
This article deals with the role of global information-management systems in the process of sustainable development of our civilization. The article characterizes the main problems that our civilization has. We prove the necessity of changing the strategy of development (from spendthrift one to economical), that is dictated by the following factors:- contradiction between the growth of population and its needs and limited resources of our planet, that are used to satisfy the requirements of population;- necessity of creation more economic mechanism of production that combines minimum cost prices and high quality of productionThe article also touches the maintenance of a head role of industrial sphere in distribution of the material benefits created by social activities; low differentiation in distribution of produced goods among the members of society; and the idea to strengthen the influence of the moral in the conscience of people.The article shows role of Russia in maintenance of sustainable development of civilization.
