MAPPING OF SOCIAL TENSION IN UKRAINE
Transformations in socio-economic, political and spiritual life of modern society caused the changes in lifestyle. Therefore it is necessary to find new adaptation strategies. Inability of significant part of the population to react to these changes quickly and adequately leads to the social tension escalation.In order to solve urgent problems in political, economic and social spheres effectively it is necessary to analyze the phenomenon of social tension in details. There are no exact methods to calculate it today. Every region possesses the number of features, distinguishing it from other ones. It should be taken into account to make sure the social tension index calculation results are accurate.Using the modern scientific experience and the information we have, we have calculated the level of the tension in society in Ukraine. The index of social tension (IST) in this work is calculated using the method of classificationsTujybiv, 1997.The results and possible trends of this phenomenon are presented on the maps.
