GIS SUPPORT IN THE SHERE OF DRINKING WATER SUPPLY OF REGIONS

摘要：

The article gives proofs of the necessity of complex using GIS-technologies in solving problems in the field of drinking water supply. The primary sphere of tasks that can be accomplished by means of GIS was observed - monitoring support, decision support of water supply system modernization, help in informing people about the drinking water quality.Also in the course of the research were formulated main principles of such approach - exceptionally drinking water supply orientation of the system with the accent to more perspective groundwater consumption, administrative-territorial concept of data structure, exploitation of juridical documentation and regulatory acts, using digital topographic base with the scale 1:200 000 as GIS foundation.
