GIS AND MULTIMEDIA IN THE RUSSIAN RESERVED TERRITORIES AND NATIONAL PARKS ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION
The growing interest and concern in nature of our planet has brought up the ecological and educational tourism a point at issue. These topics are closcly tied with the problem of natural reserved territories. Ecological and educational activity in reserved territories and natural parks of Russia has increased rapidly as well. But for the present the far-going potential geoinformational and multimedia resources are still rarely used. In the article the author summarizes the information on presence, peculiarities and usage of geoinformation systems (GIS) and focused on ecological education multimedia recourses in Russian reserved territories and national parks.
