THE STUDY OF MOUNTAIN CEDAR FOREST OF TUVA ON THE BASE OF INFORMATION SYSTEM
Transitive character territory of region from the central-asian deserts to the Siberian taiga defines prevalence of two vegetation types: forest and steppe. Distribution of the basic vegetation type to territories of Tuva is distinctly interfaced to relief defining deep contrast of climatic conditions. On mountains local climatic conditions are most closely connected with absolute height that finds clear expression in existence of vertical belt natural landscapes. Owing to these features on small space the vegetation - from forest-steppe up to tundra very quickly varies. Mountain ridges are characterized by sharp distinctions in vegetation of slopes of southern and northern exposition. On southern macroslopes of ridges steppe vegetation directly contact to Alpine tundra on southern part of region at height more than 2000 m. On northern macroslopes of ridges forest original forest-tundra combinations cedar and light coniferous forests and coppices with bush and lichen tundra rise from the foot of a mountain up to Alpine tundra, forming on the top limit of the distribution. Such vegetation which grows in the certain limits causes high sensitivity.
