MEDICAL-ECOLOGICAL MAPPING IN THE REGIONS OF TECHNOGENIC POLLUTION (EXEMPLIFIED BY THE EUROPEAN NORTH OF RUSSIA)

摘要：

Problems of medical-ecological mapping are discussed for the European North of Russia. The territory is characterized by intensive economic activities. Extraction of mineral resources is the principle branch of economy. The compiled maps demonstrate cases of ecology-connected morbidity in impact regions. They enable to define regions with poor medical-ecological situation. This is necessary for ecological and social-hygienic monitoring.
