PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF SPRAY-DRIED NiO-BASED OXYGEN CARRIER FOR CHEMICAL LOOPING COMBUSTION
Chemical-looping combustion (CLC) is attracting lots of attention as a cost-efficient combustion technology for CO2 capture and storage. CLC process uses oxygen carrier which circulates two interconnected fluidized-bed reactor, air reactor and fuel reactor, in which oxygen carrier transfers oxygen from air to fuel without direct contact between fuel and air. Pure CO2 can be easily obtained by removing water vapor in the flue gas emitted from fuel reactor.
