STUDY OF DIRECT REDUCTION IRON-MAKING BASED ON THE ENTRAINED-BED PULVERIZED COAL GASIFICATION
At present, gas-based direct reduction technology is still dominating in the process of direct reduction iron-making. However, the exploitation of nature gas is difficult while coal is very abundant in our country. Therefore, it is much more proper to develop coal-based direct reduction technology. This paper will introduce two different processes of direct reduction iron-making and analyze their materials and energy consumption by means of process system research technique using software application ASPEN PLUS. Both of these two processes combined the entrained-bed pulverized coal gasification technology which has independent intellectual property rights1 with the HYL III technology.
