CATALYTIC STEAM REFORMING OF TAR IN BIOMASS DERIVED PRODUCER GAS OVER A NOVEL PALYGORSKITE SUPPORTED NiCATALYST
Biomass is considered as a promising renewable energy resource with the advantage of reducing the emission of greenhouse gases CO2. Currently, the most potential way of biomass utilizing is gasification of biomass to obtain a high-grade synthesis gas. However, during this process, the most troublesome problem is the existence of the undesired by-product tar, which not only reduces the efficiency of gasification, but harm the safety of the system after condensation at lower temperatures. Thus, Tar removal is the bottleneck process of the hot-gas cleanup and even the biomass gasification.
