GASIFICATION BEHAVIOR OF THE RESIDUE FROM BIODIESEL REFINING PROCESS

Remarkable research and progress about utilization of biomass has been achieved in recent year because of the continuous rise of oil prices and fuel consumption, regulation of CO2 emission, strict clean air policies, and achieving energy supply security by reducing foreign oil dependence. Concerns about conventional oil availability, security of supply and fluctuating prices have increased the interest in biofuels for transport since they are seen as a near-term alternative 1.
