摘要：

Solid fuels, such as coal, biomass and RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) can produce gaseous fuel or chemicals by the thermal conversion process. Although coal has a higher energy contents than biomass, utilization of coal can cause serious environmental pollution. On the other hand, biomass is environmentally friendly when utilized for energy production. Co-utilization of coal with other fuels such as biomass and RDF for energy production has been studied 1.
