NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF SAWDUST GASIFICATION IN AN AIR CYCLONE GASIFIER
Biomass has received increasing attention in the past decades as interesting renewable energy source. A lot of research of biomass gasification has been done in experiment. At present, the gasifier should be designed and operated more scientific, and then more knowledge of biomass reactively was required. Different types of biomass have very different physical and chemical characteristics. The fuel properties and process conditions, such as fuel type, particle size, air flow rate and fuel moisture, affect the combustion of characteristics, altering the heat generation, heat transfer and reaction rates in a complicated manner 1.
