EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON ADVANCED BIOMASS REBURNING FOR NOz CONTROL
Reburning has been demonstrated in pulverized coal-fired boiler with both coal and natural gas as the reburning fuel. Typically, NO reductions between 50% and 60% are reported without adverse effects on boiler operability. To achieve higher NOx removal efficiency, the new reburning fuel are explored, including super-fine pulverized coal, biomass, liquified petroleum gas, coal water slurry, etc.; otherwise, the advanced reburning (AR) have been being developed that couples basic reburning with the injection of nitrogen agents(i.e., ammonia or urea) and promoter compounds.
