THE SO2 REMOVAL AND REGENERATION PROPERTIES OF CeFeMgO SORBENT IN RFCC
Sulfur dioxide (SO2) is emitted form the many industrial processes that used the sulfur-containing compounds like fossil fuel. In Residue Fluid Catalytic Cracking (RFCC) and Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) units, about 45%~55% of the sulfur in the hydrocarbon feedstock is converted to hydrogen sulfide in the reactor units and about 35%~45% remains in a liquid product. The rest 5%~10% of the sulfur is deposited on the FCC catalyst1.
