EFFECTS OF REDUCTIBILITY OF COAL GAS ON. PHYSICAL PROPERTY OF ZINC-BASED DESULFURIZATION SORBENT IN IGCC
Gasification technology represents an innovative electric power generation concept and it utilizes the low-grade fossil fuels to produce electricity, steam, syngas (CO and H2), ammonia, and methanol 1. An ultra gas cleaning process for further purification is necessary to convert syngas into the high value-added products, such as hydrogen for fuel cell and chemicals (DME, MeOH) for catalytic conversion processes 2,3. However, since the synthetic fuel gas contains harmful sulfur existing in the form of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) under the highly reducing conditions of the required for an integrated gasification system in order to remove H2S from it 4,5.
