REMOBAL ORGANIC SULPHRE IN COAL BY OXIDATION UNDER ULREASONIC AND MICROWAVE RADIATION

In China, 70% of energy needs comes from coal combustion and this situation will last for another 50 years. However, the sulfur content in Chinese coal is high, total sulfur above 2%, of which takes the 25% of total coal reserves, and organic sulfur is more than 40% 1. Amount of SOX released during the processes of coal combustion is a serious environmental issue, so coal applicability and waste disposal have led to increase research on pre-combustion desulfurization process, which has the potential of solving of this problem.
