EFFECTS OF PRETREATMENT METHODS ON STRUCTURE AND CATALYTIC ACTIVITY OF Co/SiO2 FOR FISCHER-TROPSCH SYNTHESIS
Fischer-Tropsch synthesis(FTS) is an important route for ultra-clean liquid fuel synthesis from coal-based or natural-gas-based syngas at economically feasible cost1,2. Supported cobalt is the preferred catalyst for the FTS because of its high activity and low water-gas shift activity3. Silica is commonly used as the support material due to its high surface area and its inertness. Furthermore, well-dispersed active phases can be obtained4.
