Dimethoxymethane (DMM, CH3OCH2OCH3), as an important chemical, is widely used in organic synthesis. Recently, as an extraordinarily promising additive to diesel oil with potential apply value, DMM has been paid close attention.Currently, DMM is mainly produced industrially via the acetalization of methanol with formaldehyde over acidity catalysts.
