RESEARCH ON LOW VOLTAGE RIDE THROUGH OF DOUBLY-FED INDUCTION GENERATOR WIND POWER SYSTEM
With the development of wind power technology, doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG) wind turbines are more widely used especially in large wind farms. The capacity of typical wind turbines are about 1~5MW. By the end of 2006, the total installed capacity of the wind turbines has reached as much as 74.22GW.With the increment capacity of the wind turbines and wind farms, the influent of wind power on power system is becoming more and more larger. And the grid owners are worried about the ability of wind power system to ride-through the grid fault. So nowadays many Grid Code demand the connection generator must keep connection and provide reactive power to support gird when the grid voltage above the specified curve.
