New High-Temperature, High-Performance TRIACs for Optimized Vacuum Cleaner Designs
This paper presents a new family of TRIACs specifically designed for vacuum cleaner applications and able to work up to a 150 ℃ junction temperature. After a b rief introduction of TRIAC behavior at turn-off and how it can be improved through die design, the blocking performance of a new 12 A, 600 V high-temperature TRIAC is presented. The paper will also go into several key points to be addressed when selecting a TRIAC for a vacuumcleaner application.
