Position Sensorless Vector Control Driving Non-salient Small Power PMSM based on 16-bit MCU
The voltage model for permanent magnet synchronous motor is descripted. The simplified motor voltage formulation is proposed in order to implementing position sensorless vector control algorithm in 16-bit, low cost micro controller. A novel startup method is proposed without position sensor and the test results are analyzed. The performance of Renesas 16-bit, low-cost micro controller is simply introduced. The software algorithm and hardware implementation based on Renesas M16C/Tiny is presented.
