One New Control Method about Partial PFC
Partial PFC based on Renesas MCU R8C11 Group-R5F21114F1(see Fig.2) in air-con application is discussed in this paper. Here, PF correct is according to DC Bus voltage. DC Bus voltage is sampled with one channel AD. And we check AC voltage zero-checking, we start inputting signal on the AC rising and falling edge to start PFC working. In one period, we generate 3 serial pulses in AC current waveform. But for high or low voltage, the delay time after rising or falling edge will be modified and we need confirm the booster or reference voltage for input pulse signal. In the meantime, interval time between these 3 pulses will be modified according to DC Bus voltage variety. On the other hand, all kinds of protection such as over temperature and Fo alarm will be dealt. And recovery subroutine will be added after Fo alarm happens.
