INVESTIGATION ON CO-COMBUSTION OF SEMICOKE AND REFUSE DERIVED FUEL IN AN INTERNALLY CIRCULATING FLUIDIZED BED
The emissions of NO N2O CO2 SO2 H2O CO HCl and C3H6 were investigated during the co-combustion of semicoke and refuse derived fuel (RDF) in an internally circulating fluidized bed (ICFB). The results show that the addition of RDF leads to lower N2O CO2 and SO2 emissions. On the other hand, H2O CO HCl NO and C3H6 concentrations increased with the amount of RDF added. Also it was found that the addition of the element Cl during the co-combustion can catalyze the formation of NO.
