EFFECTS OF THERMAL ENVIROMENT ON THE SLAG LAYER IN ENTAINED-FLOW COAL GASIFIER

Entrained-flow gasifier is the trend of coal clean usage. A model has been proposed to describe the slag flow, heat and mass transfer and solidification on the wall in entrained-flow gasifier. The effects of thermal environment on the flow, heat transfer and mass transfer of slag on the wall in gasifier are studied under the conditions of high temperature and high pressure. Temperatures in the gasifier and on the wall are changed in the simulation to study the effects of thermal environment on the characteristics of slag flow, heat-mass transfer and phase-change.
