The Identification of Aluminums Johnson-cook Model under Hypervelocity Impact Conditions

How to describe the material characteristics under high pressure and high strain rate is a key factor in hypervelocity impact problems using the numerical simulation methods. In this article, a SRSM (Successive response surface method) optimization method combined the physical experiments with SPH( Smooth Particle Hydrodynamic) numerical simulation is adopted to identify these five parameters for aluminum Johnson-cook model. Using the optimized parameters can acquire the batter results than the origin parameters which are tested directly from the lab. The validity and the reliability of material parameters can be improved by this optimization method.
