The Application of CBERS Data in Disaster Monitoring

摘要：

Natural disaster is a great threat to the lives of the people. Because satellite remote sensing is timely and objective,it plays an important role in natural disaster monitoring,especially in fatal disasters. China-Brazil Earth Resource Satellite (CBERS) is an earth observing remote sensing satellite jointly developed by China and Brazil. CBERS data have been successfully used in the monitoring of several kings of disasters, including tsunami, forest fire and landslide backwater.
