Research on Knowledge Sharing and Influencing Factors in Virtual Design Teams

摘要：

With the development of science and technology, traditional design teams is losing the capability to adjusting themselves to the requirements that projects can be managed across regions, time and space. Accordingly, virtual design teams e-merged. This paper discusses what virtual design teams are and related key problems in knowledge sharing. This paper believes that the key problems in knowledge sharing of virtual design teams involve three dimensions: structural, relational, and knowledge dimensions, and presents that the crucial influencing factors should be trust, member characteristics, team leaders and communication technology. Among these factors, trust, as the core and bond of knowledge sharing and transfer, is the most important.
