AN EXPERT SYSTEM FOR CULTIVATION AND MANAGEMENT OF PEANUT
By summarizing, inducing, and extracting research achievements and knowledge accumulations in peanut cultivation theory and technology, an expert system for Shandong Province was developed for peanut cultivation and management. This system comprises a database system, knowledge base, inference machine, computer-user interface and so on. The aim of the work presented here is various. First, make decisions on peanut cultivation and management techniques; Second, dynamically simulate and regulate the growth of peanut; Third, retrieve and consult information about peanut and peanuts cultivation. The system used the windowsXP as platform and Visual Basic6.0 as program language. This paper mainly discussed the primary thought of the system, and how to accomplish the first aim.
