THE RETRIEVAL OF SOIL MOISTURE UNDER DIFFERENT MATRIC SUCTIONS WITH SPECTRAL REFLECTANCE
The relationship between soil moisture and spectral reflectance was explored under different matric suctions. With the soil moisture increasing, the soil reflectance decreased, but when the soil moisture reach saturated water content, the results are reverse. The soil moisture and soil reflectance has good correlation. At 1978nm and 1947nm wavelength, estimation precision was optimal when using relative reflectance and A value, respectively. When using the first derivative of spectral reflectance for estimation, 1370nm is the best wavelength. For the first derivative of A value, the best estimation was obtained at 1406nm. The soil moisture was retrieved with hyperspectral in laboratory. Therefore, we will extend widely hyperspectral remote sensing technology to practice application.
