APPROACHES TO SPAN DIGITAL DIVIDE IN REMOTE AREAS

摘要：

There is a large digital divide in remote areas compared with inland & inshore areas, because of low income, lag communication, high cost, poor education, etc. This paper puts forward solving ideas and methods, which are doable in theory, operable in technology, applicable in practice, by building all-sided & various information service systems. It offers guide in theory & technology to solve and span digital divide in remote areas. These ideas and methods are hopeful to turn digital divide into digital opportunity & digital dividend, and finally solve last one mile in information service.
