BEIJING WEBGIS-BASED ECOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
To realize ecological environment dynamic monitoring and information management, the National Agriculture Information Technology research center developed a Beijing ecological environment information management system based on the ecological environment base data and magnanimous space database. This system is based on the J2EE technology system and integrated in the WebGIS environment, which was seamlessly integrated with traditional MIS/OA. High technologies such as remote sensing, geographic information system, global positioning system, three dimensional virtual simulation, spatial database, and computer network were used to build base database and social, economical, ecological, and city infrastructure synthesis application database for Beijing and its peripheral cities, to comprehensively grasp the ecological environment construction, the Beijing and Tianjin sandstorm source management project implementation, and the ecological project progresses dynamic reports, appraisal and planning. The space information transmission system was established to realize long-distance report of geography data for the Beijing and Tianjin sandstorm project. The intensive management mechanism of municipal administration has provided the effective management method assisting macroscopic decision-making.
